Founded

Founded by R Venkateswara Rao in 1976 with just 10 personnel, the company eventually evolved into an overpowering construction force. Today we work on diversified verticals like Buildings, Transportation, Irrigation, Water Supply, Tunnels and Industrial Structures.

Through execution of exclusive EPC projects and setting benchmarks for competitors, RVR has transformed into a brand name synonymous with Quality and Trust. By commissioning a 12.8 km long Mechanized Coal Conveyer System at Krishnapatnam port in 2014, RVR forayed into Built-Operate-Transfer (BOT) projects.

Perfecting the knowledge gained over 40 years and recapitulating the experience to perform better makes RVR a pioneer in the construction sphere. We are keen on environment-friendly construction and the safety of the workers.

Milestones

The journey of RVR

  1. Beginning

    Our story starts in Visakhapatnam with ten people, one civil engineer, and a value system that still holds.

  2. Incorporation

    R.V.R. Projects Private Limited is formed, with the founder, Raghu Rayala and R Satyanarayana on the board.

  3. Industry

    Refineries, metros, aluminium and defence — HPCL, NALCO, DMRC, DRDO, PGCIL and BCPL work nationwide.

  4. Leadership

    Ganesh Sarnala joins the board. Finance, taxation, HR and strategy deepen as a management practice.

  5. BOT

    A 12.8 km mechanized coal conveyor at Krishnapatnam — RVR’s first Build-Operate-Transfer project.

  6. Flagship

    Twin 8.54 km irrigation tunnels, a 122 MLD treatment plant and heavy-duty port pavements on the book.

A protagonist by nature and a Civil Engineer by profession. He initiated operations in 1976, laying a solid foundation and a strong value system.
